Term 2 saw a couple of fun fundraising events for both children and adults. Please look out for the email when it comes through and if you have any questions, then please let me know. We would really appreciate your input in to the running of the kinder and this survey helps us understand what works well, and what we can improve on. This survey is your chance to provide the Kinder (Staff and Committee) with feedback. We also have our parent survey going out in August. The sausage sizzle is our last fundraiser for the year and we would really value your support! There are various shift options during the day so hopefully there is an option that works best with your day. We need a number of volunteers to help out during the day so if you can spare a couple of hours please sign up.
The kinder has managed to secure a spot at Moorabbin Bunnings to run a sausage sizzle on Saturday 4th August. In Term 3 we have the St Mary’s Disco, which is always a fun amusing evening, and we have our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle fundraiser. We have an exciting term ahead of us with many things happening. Happy Springtime.A warm welcome back to all the St Mary’s children and families to Term 3. In the month of April, children will be learning about flowers growing, Easter, Earth Day and all the color around us. This month we will also be taking time to discuss all the changes around us. We will be excited to spend more time outside. We seem to finally be enjoying some warmer weather. We will continue to focus on learning our shapes and names. Next week we will be doing a lot of fun Easter activities, like coloring eggs and hiding them. The kids have really enjoyed watching them grow! This month we will be learning about spring, bugs, how things grow, spring animals, and colors of spring. We are loving being outside more! Ask your child about our carrot garden we are growing seeds in science. It’s hard to believe that April and spring are here already. Please check your child’s extra clothes because much like the plants, these kids are growing fast. If you have any seeds that we can plant, please bring them in. We are also talking about what plants need to grow. We will be planting seeds and tracking their growth. Happy April!Īpril is here already! The theme of the month is Spring with a focus on planting. As usual, we will continue to learn about shapes, colors, and ABCs and counting. We will be focusing on spring flowers and Easter bunnies and eggs.
Spring has sprung! This month is full of spring and Easter related projects. This month we will be learning about farm life, farmers, animals, planting and we will throw in a week of Easter with bunnies, ducks, and chicks! Our shape of the month will be oval for Easter eggs and our color will be yellow. We will be going outside more so please bring in a hat if your child needs one.Īpril in Colorado is invigorating!
